ACRIFLU 40I NEW is a resin based on fluorinated polymers with acrylic modifications.
ACRIFLU 40I NEW is ideal for the treatment of building lithoid materials, natural stones (e.g. tufeau stone, sandstones) and lapidary materials (e.g. marbles, granite, limekilns).
It is moreover indicated for the protection of lime based coatings and paints, to which it gives oil repellence property and an elevated degree of resistance to the water absorption.
ACRIFLU 40I NEW is a protecting agent with elevated concentration of active principle, that associates to an optimal oil-repellence an anti-chalking effect. The acrylic component, present in the formulation, enables a great griping to the support (and the mentioned anti-chalking effect), while the fluoridated part, self arranged towards the outside, confers to the surface hydro and oil repellence properties.
ACRIFLU 40I NEW posses an elevated resistance to the atmospheric and polluting agents and to U.V. rays, these characteristics of elevated resistance make it particularly suitable as a protecting treatment for interior and for exterior materials.
APPLICATIONS: ACRIFLU 40I NEW is used for the protection of porous lithoid materials (e.g. red bricks, tails, pottery), lapidary (e.g. marbles, granite, natural limekilns), stones (e.g. sandstone, limekilns, tufeau stone) and lime based coating.
ACRIFLU 40I NEW has to be used not diluted. It can be applied to either with paint-roller or paint-brush. At the end of each application, the instruments must be cleaned up with an appropriate solvent.
The product is not suitable for spraying.
The different yield are according to the absorption capability of the support on which it is applied:
- For little porous materials it varies from 10 to 20 mq for kg.
- For porous materials from 5 to 10 mq for kg.

Density to 20°C: 0,77 gr/cm3
Miscibility: mixable with the a good range of organic solvents like white spirit, acetate of butyl and ketones. Stability: 12 months
MANIPULATION AND STORAGE: To avoid stability problems the product has to be kept in the original containers well sealed in a dry place, at room temperature. The maximum storage time is 12 months. Avoid the exposure to high temperatures and frost.
Stir well before use.
